The sea is calm and quiet, Its surface smooth as glass. The sun sets in the distance, A fiery ball of brass.
The waves roll in and out, Their rhythm soft and slow. I sit and watch in silence, As the day begins to go.
The breeze is cool and gentle, Whispering through my hair. I breathe the salty air, And forget about my cares.
In this moment of stillness, I feel a sense of peace. The world around me fades away, And my worries start to cease.
For here, by the sea's edge, I find a sense of grace. And though the night may come, I know that I can face.
So let the waves keep rolling, And the sun keep sinking low. For in this moment, all is well, And I am content to go.
