The sea is calm and quiet Its surface smooth as glass The sun sets in the distance A fiery ball of brass
The waves roll in and out Their rhythm soft and slow I sit and watch in silence As the day begins to go
The breeze is cool and gentle Whisking through my hair I breathe the salty air and forget about my cares
In this moment of stillness I feel a sense of peace The world around me fades away And my worries start to cease
For here, by the sea's edge I find a sense of grace And though the night may come I know that I can face.
So let the waves keep rolling And the sun keep sinking low For in this moment, all is well And I am content to go
